Much of the region's history is complex, with the local struggles being conducted at times as a part of the cold war between the United States and the Soviet Union, but these videos do an admirable job of explaining the complexities of the situation. The segment on the Six Day War, for example, is masterful, with the scenes shifting from Israel to Egypt to Washington to Moscow.

An unlikely friendship develops between the Emperor, Xiao Longxia and Bai Yu Fei, each pretending to the others to be someone else. Univision promoted Cuando me enamoro for the United States audience, with the first promo shown on March 30, and was initially scheduled to air at 8pm central. A second promo confirmed an April 19 airing at 7pm central. The third promo aired on April 5, confirming a 7pm/6pm central on Univision, and aired from April 20, 2011 to January 6, 2012.
