Kamichu!

Yurie is just an ordinary middle school girl in the 1980's - until overnight she finds out that she is a Kami, or God, in the Shinto sense. When Yurie announces this fact to her best friend Mitsue, their classmate Mitsuri takes advantage of Yurie's new divinity to revitalize her family's dying shrine. Yurie is nicknamed Kamichu and now must go on with her godly duties while going to school and winning the heart of her crush, Kenji, while Mitsuri tries to replace her old shrine god Yashima with her.

While playing the piano in the music room the night before work, Masaki meets Sae Izumi, a student who is running away from one issue. Shōkōjo Seira is a 2009 Japanese drama television series based on the children's novel A Little Princess by Frances Hodgson Burnett. Due to her father's sudden death in a mining accident, Seira has overcomes many ordeals at the Millenius Seminary boarding school because she is unable to pay her school fees. Shōkōjo Seira aired on Saturdays from 7:56pm on the Tokyo Broadcasting System between 17 October 2009 and 19 December 2009.

Live Through This

Live Through This is a teen drama broadcast on MTV during the 2000–2001 season, though cancelled after only 13 episodes due to poor ratings. The hour-long drama plot involved a fictional 1980s band entitled "The Jackson Decker Band" reuniting for one last comeback tour. Each episode featured original music written by Graham Nash and performed by Pat Benatar. It was the first hour-long drama series to be aired on MTV.
