The Grand Mansion Gate

This Chinese period drama series follows the fortunes of a prominent merchant family engaged in Traditional Chinese Medicine during the waning years of the Ching dynasty. The affairs of this family of doctors/pharmacists (which in those days were one and the same) are intimately linked with social upheavals of the time such as the encroachment of Christian missionaries and foreign imperialism as well as conflicts that inevitably emerge in a large upper class family. Comparable in scope and production value to such recent titles as "Downton Abbey", the lives and character of both masters and servants intertwine in plot lines that spans more than a generation.

Dagmar Burešová, a young female lawyer, became part of his legacy by defending Jan's family in a trial against the communist government, a regime which tried to dishonour Palach’s sacrifice, a heroic action for the freedom of Czechoslovakia.

FutureWeapons

Future Weapons, sometimes also written as FutureWeapons and Futureweapons, is a television series that premiered on April 19, 2006 on the Discovery Channel. Host Richard "Mack" Machowicz, a former Navy SEAL, reviews and demonstrates the latest modern weaponry and military technology. The program is currently broadcast on the Discovery Channel and Military Channel.

Jue Mi Shi Ming

In order to support the Central Soviet Area in breaking the Kuomintang’s military "encirclement and suppression" and economic blockade, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China decided to establish a red communication line from Shanghai to the Soviet Area via Hong Kong and Shantou. Zou Zuo Ren is the head of the Bogongao station of the transportation line. Together with other large, medium and small transportation stations, he is carrying out the top-secret mission of transporting personnel and scarce supplies to the Soviet area and also transporting funds and intelligence from the Soviet area to the Shanghai Party Central Committee. Under the leadership of Zou Zuo Ren, the traffic men battled wits with the enemy.
