Hart to Hart Returns

Jonathan Hart, the wealthy entrepreneur, and his charming investigative reporter wife, Jennifer, once again get caught up in a mystery, this time involving corrupt government contractors. Aided by their trusty servant Max, who is more family than employee, and their dog Freeway, the Harts try to resolve issues with an investigation into Jonathan’s business dealings with an old friend in the aerospace industry, and find themselves in the midst of a dark plot which will put Jonathan’s freedom, their home, and even their lives in jeopardy.

Veteran Detective Ed Delopre and partner Mike McGivern have their hands full when they hit the pavement in search of a dangerous killer with five dead bodies already on his record. The mayor, in a rush to see peace restored in her city, makes a deal with the mob instead of waiting for Delopre and McGivern's results. These images, always fragmentary (either cut-up or inserted piece by piece within the image as a whole), alternating between negative and positive, complementing or contradicting each other - give an insight into the wrenching separation experienced by those members of the population who remain at home, left to their fate in an inhospitable landscape. Over what we call the 'joints', we will engrave words in French or Kabyle (Berber), echoing the masculine voices of Rachid Adel and Michel Amarger. An original composition by Mr. Djamel Tareb will form the musical sound-track for the film.
