Included also is a DVD of the bands sought after appearances on Top of the Pops and the Old Grey Whistle Test a well as concerts from throughout the band's career. This is a first for the band as these recordings have never been available in one place before. This is a superb collection of live, studio work and videos and a must for anyone who likes rock music. Actually music full stop. Because this is a band of probably the best musicians you will ever hear. So what you get here is simply an amazing collection of excellent music from concerts all over the world as well as some videos from the time. Here you have the cheesy Knocking At Your Back Door and Bad Attitude to smokin live footage of Black Night (84) and Space truckin (85). While the dvd is mainly split evenly between the Blackmore years and Morse years, both are equally outstanding.

Mari Naxakis, the Art of Finger Lace in Crete

In the Cretan villages of the White Mountains, women preserve the rich tradition of the land with maturity and creativity. Over the years, the Cretan “petseta” has become a very important part of their dowry, their life and their personality. On each “petseta” there are warp threads that must be fastened. A simple knot would be enough, until some woman, playing with the loose threads, created the first finger lace pattern. This is the main subject of this film. Mrs Marie Naxaki’s encounter with these women led to the joy of talking about the past and the special meaning of the finger lace edging.
