Wasps, Geese, Pear-tree

The chalk-drawing animated film is based on Richard Brautigan’s novel: „Revenge of the lawn”. This is a remembrance, the story of a childhood memory about grandma’ and grandpa’. After the death of grandpa’, Jack took over the domesticities, and delivered grandma’s bourbon on his truck. Grandma’s whisky served as a salutary refreshment during prohibition times. Her house wore the traces of two accidents. The film tells the story of these accidents.

Dilution

Dilution is an experimental short film that explores the transit between resistance and (di)ssolution, between holding and releasing and a path towards obsessive repetition. They are layers, exposed pores, matter that oscillates between remaining or disappearing. The sound is not a background, but a puncture: friction, tearing, water that drags what still persists. A sensorial testimony of what refuses to vanish completely.

Diary of Childhood

Narrates the story of the friendship between an injured girl and a ladybird, reflecting a special relationship between the child and nature.

Refrigerator Art: My Family

Animated with crayon drawings, Refrigerator Art is a series of shorts based on the adventures of a little boy named Billy, and his all-American dysfunctional family. Gate

It’s feels like a vision of a pilgrimage gone south. Desperately looking for the gate in the forgotten lands where only military planes dare to fy. By using gouache painting and their digital processing, animation artist Francesco Rosso imagines two monks rehearsing, fnding perfect pitch which fows through walls and fences, despite their layers. The impulse for this animation comes from an existing musical composition by Karl Saks who recorded Buddhist monks chanting while on a trip to China.
