Knight began coaching the Hoosiers during the 1971-72 season, and he won 662 games and three national championships with the program.

Five Improvisations

The diagrammatic space first entered in Diagram Film becomes the stage for temporal, rhythmic, informational and spatial play with a single diagram (a 144-drawing cycle) that refers to the film and animation process, animation history, specific filmmakers and other encoded data. The arrangement of the drawings for each of the five sequences was improvised on the animation during the act of shooting, creating five variations and possible readings of the animated composition.

Frantic Attempts

Matthias is going on a weekend course of self-discovery called “My Value on Earth,” which was an expensive gift from his girlfriend. The course is supposed to help him deal with his chronic inability to finish things that he’s started. But before Matthias leaves, his girlfriend springs a surprise on him: he’s going to be a father. Hector's wife, Patricia, asks her old acquaintance, the incredibly strange and stupid adventurer Captain Spoling, to take over the theater. After much deliberation, he agrees. Then the great mafia boss Don Calzone shows up and claims ownership of the theater. Hector bet the theater in a game of poker, and lost. Now the two candidates, together with their lawyers and the others, must find Hector's will to see who he wanted as his successor. Amidst all this, love stories, madness and misunderstandings unfold - all while the theater's existence is in danger.
